VillaRosa holds two annual community yard sale events in which all residents may participate.
One sale is held in the spring, and one in the fall. Actual dates for each year's events will be posted in newsletters, on this web site, and on the community information signboard.
VillaRosa will advertise these events in local newspapers.
No other private or individual yard sales are allowed in VillaRosa, and no private or individual signage may be posted on common or personal property in connection with the community yard sales.
Our Yard Sales have been great successes: lots of traffic, lots of junk converted to money, lots of new homes found for old treasures.
The participation of Goodwill Industries was a great new thing for our Spring Yard 08 sale, and has been repeated ever since--they put a trailer onsite in our park as an easy way for us to get rid of our unsold items, as well as a benefit for Goodwill. Here's what Lisa Marie Carroll of Goodwill Industries had to say: “WOW ! What a great success for Goodwill. Thank you so much for having us. We greatly appreciate it and hope you will invite us back again. Residents of Villa Rosa are very kind to us.”
